1.SPECIMEN COLLECTION AND PREPARATION
Nasopharyngeal swab specimen collection

1.Allow the patient's head to relax naturally.
2. Slowly rotate the swab against the nostril wall into the nostril of
the patient to the nasal palate.
3. Slowly rotate it out while wiping.
4. Wipe the other nostril with the same swab, using the same
method;
Oropharyngeal swab specimen collection
Oropharyngeal swab
1. Have the patient's head slightly tilted back, mouth open, and"ah" sound.
2. Exposing both sides of the pharyngeal tonsils.
3. Use a hand swab to gently wipe the pharyngeal tonsils on both
sides of the patient for at least 3 times.
4. Wipe them on the posterior pharyngeal wall for at least 3 times.
DO NOT LAY THE SWAB DOWN.Place the swab in the tube.
★ The samples should be used as soon as possible after collected (within half an hour).
Samples should not be inactivated.
★ Only use intact and undamaged test cartridges from completely sealed packaging. Do not use kits beyond the printed expiry date. Ensure cartridge pouches have been stored between 2ºC and 30ºC.
★ The test cartridge should be used within 1 hour of removal from its foil pouch. The buffer solution
should be re-capped immediately after use.

3.RESULT INTERPRETATIO
Positive Result
Colored bands appear at both test
line (T) and control line (C). It
indicates a positive result for the
2019-nCoV antigen in the specimen.
Negative Result
Colored band appears at control line (C)
only. It indicates that the concentration
of the 2019-nCoV antigen is zero or
below the detection limit of the test.
Invalid
No visible colored band appears at control line after performing the test. The
directions may not have been followed correctly or the test may have deteriorated.
It is recommended that the specimen be re-tested.
