*SPECIMEN COLLECTION AND PREPARATION

Nasopharyngeal swab

The head is naturally relaxed.
Rotate the swab slowly into the nostril to the nasal palate.
Rotate at least 4 times against the nasal cavity (retention time is not less than 15 seconds), and then repeat the same operation for the other nasal cavity using the same swab.

Oropharyngeal swab specimen collection

The head is slightly tilted back, the mouth is open, and an "ah" sound is made.
Expose both sides of the pharyngeal tonsils.
Gently wipe both pharyngeal tonsils with a swab at least 3 times.
Wipe them on the posterior pharyngeal wall for at least 3 times.

DO NOT LAY THE SWAB DOWN.Place the swab in the tube.

★ Testing should be performed as soon as possible (within half an hour) after sample collection. Samples do not need to be inactivated.
★ Use only undamaged and undamaged test cartridges that are fully sealed. Check if the kit is within the shelf life. Make sure the kit is stored between 2°C and 30°C. (If the reagent is expired or the contents of the reagent are missing or damaged, the detection reagent should be replaced in time).
★ The test kit should be used within 1 hour of being removed from the foil bag. Buffer solutions should be capped immediately after use.

*Interpretation of results

Positive Result

A red band is shown at both "C" and "T", which indicates that the result of the specimen is positive.

Negative Result

A red band appears at "C" and no band at "T", It indicates that the concentration of the 2019-nCoV antigen is zero or below the detection limit of the test.

Invalid

After the test, there is no visible colored band on the control line, which is an invalid result. It may be that the standard operation has not been carried out or the kit has failed. It is recommended to replace the kit and re-test.
